Frontier Engineering Digital Learning

“FE” is currently building a hosted content platform to manage video, text, and image based educational content in house.

The app uses cloudflare for storage.

Stack and repo: Course Site

Role in the program

In-person workshops are the primary delivery mode. The platform is the before / during / after layer:

  • Before: pre-work, environment setup check, placement pre-assessment (see Learner Personas)
  • During: lab instructions, decks, starter repos, cohort materials
  • After: recordings, reference guides, practical/deployment submissions, completion data for the certificate

Requirements the program adds

Because the platform is custom-built, these are features to build or confirm (^q-008):

  • Microsoft branding on learner-facing pages; brand as a theme layer → Brandable assets
  • Firms and cohorts: bulk enrollment by firm, one cohort per workshop
  • Submissions: file/repo links for the graded practical and deployment phase, rubric grading → Certification and Assessment Design
  • Certificate data handoff to Microsoft, which issues the certificate (^q-015)
  • Reporting per firm: enrollment, completion, pass rates
  • Scale: enough for up to 10,000 learners → Scale and Capacity Model
  • Enterprise SSO (Entra ID) — later
  • Content versioning per cohort → Content versioning
